The romantic villages invite you to discover their customs, art and culture but they also invite you to take a leisurely stroll or taste their specialties. The Vinschgau Valley is mainly in summer an ideal place for mountain lovers. The hiker is accompanied on the mountain tops by the scent of fresh summer air and the spicy smell of the hay harvest but also by the murmur of the clear mountain streams and the sound of cow bells. You can also explore cycling paths that run through the wide orchards along the Adige river or dive into the cool waters of lakes or outdoor swimming pools.

Nordic Walking

Nordic Walking is much more than the new exercise kick!

Walking the Nordic way is considered one of the healthiest sports around. Discover walking with poles and fast steps, the gentle whole body training for endurance, strength and fitness! Nordic Walking enables all age groups to start a gentle endurance training, combined with an experience of nature. This is of course especially impressive when moving in the fascinating Vinschgau mountains. The sweeping movement stresses the heart and circulation, stimulates the metabolism, strengthens muscles and bones, and gets rid of excess pounds. Those who diligently swing their poles back and forth also strengthen their arms, shoulders and back. Nordic walking also relieves muscle tension in the shoulder and neck areas and increases mobility in the neck/chest area. The Vinschgau Valley also offers many opportunities for Nordic walking enthusiasts. Between paths rich in culture, romantic forest paths or in the midst of apple orchards, everyone gets their money's worth
